Nice to meet you.

My name is Nicholis J. Kosorok. I was born in Red Lodge in 1955. I started my Wood Craft in 1979, establishing my first business under “Lifetime Cabintree.”

Once I was established, more opportunity came and different types of woodworking developed.

It was in 1990 that I changed the name to “Kosorok Furniture and Millworks.”

From that point I grew to start designing and building Custom Kitchens, Custom Furniture and Architectural Millwork. Other projects during this time included Book Cases, Wine Rooms, Saddle Stands, Cradles and Custom Wood Beds.

I have shipped my pieces throughout the United States including Alaska and Hawaii.

I married Karen in 1985, and always comment, she is the biggest reason for my success.

Two of my influences were Charles Molesworth of Western Art Fame and Sam Maloff who started a great movement of contemporary Free Form Furniture Designs.

I try to design my piece’s around function and beauty. When the opportunity is there I also like to use re-purposed material. Older lumber of that nature has great benefits. My goal is truly to make each piece, heirloom quality that also fits today’s needs.

About 6 years ago I changed my Company name to “Korosok Family Traditions”.

When my grandparents settled here around 1910. Bringing with them a strong work ethic and the drive to do your best at any level. In total it’s been 43 years since the completion of my first piece. I honestly still can not wait to walk into my shop everyday.

I am a lucky man.
